AUGMENTED REALITY AT THE SERVICE OF CREATION
Our story begins in Paris, with a child and her father, strolling through the Great Gallery of Evolution at the National Museum of Natural History of Paris. The little girl was struck by the number of species endangered or already extinct and was filled with regret:
“It’s so sad that they can’t move anymore”.
This became the starting point for our thinking and our pioneering approach: imagining and offering new museum experiences.
SAOLA Studio was born. The first creation studio in augmented reality dedicated to cultural sites. REVIVRE (“To live again”), SAOLA’s first creation, opens in the Great Gallery of Evolution in Paris for the summer 2021. Shortly after, the studio creates GRAND LARGE ("High Seas") at the NAUSICAA National Center of the Sea, the largest aquarium in Europe.

- Our team, consisting of directors, scriptwriters, authors, scenographers and producers, imagines and creates plug-and-play AR (augmented reality) projects. We take care of all the stages, from the creation to the on-site integration.
- We work mainly with world-renowned museums and cultural institutions to enrich and bring their collections to life.
- We also design immersive experiences for artistic shows, salons and events.

This is why our first project is based on using AR smart glasses, fitted with better sensors, a wider field of vision, and peak onboard technology that makes them easier and more comfortable to wear within a 3D environment, even with regular eyeglasses.
